Mark had roots in NY, but had made Vermont his home. At the time of his deployment with the Vermont Army National Guard, he was living in Wilmington and working with the Wilmington Police Department.
Join us on September 19th in Wilmington, VT at the Molly Stark State Park for a 5K Walk/Run in honor of one of our nation’s fallen heroes.
On September 19, 2005, at the age of 27, Mark was killed in action while deployed to Iraq with the Vermont Army National Guard.
Prior to his deployment Mark worked with the Wilmington Police Department, was a former Deputy with the Windham County Sheriff's Department, and a graduate of Norwich University.
All proceeds from this event to benefit the Lt. Mark Dooley Memorial/Scholarship Fund – he will not be forgotten.
